A. What personal data do we collect?

When you sign up for or use Rently, we may ask for personally identifiable information in order to provide you with the products and services which you requested. Depending on the product or service, we may ask you for a variety of personally identifiable information including but not limited to the following:

• Name, date of birth, nationality, gender, National Registration Card / Passport number, residency status, correspondence address, contact details including mobile, office and residential telephone number and facsimile number, e-mail address, banking details and/or photographs / images.
• Employment information (private sector, government sector, self-employed, non-working or others), name of employer and office address, details of relationship with the company (e.g. promoter, director, shareholder), telephone number and facsimile number, email address.
• Your membership with us and online account information, including your user name, personalised ID number and password.
• Information on the property(ies) including the meter readings, rental details, and property specifications.
• Purchasing or transaction records including information such as files and messages that you store using your account through the Platform.
• Personal data collected automatically, which include internet protocol address (IP address), internet cookies, type of language used, access time and such other personal data relevant when you access our website and/or mobile and/tablet applications.

We may also ask for other information about you, such as your credit/debit card information or bank details (when you are making a purchase), interests, income, or educational level. We consider certain identifiable information "sensitive." This includes your credit card number, income level, or any other information that would normally be considered confidential.

You may choose not to provide us with any personally identifiable information, and you will still be able to access and use many portions of our platform; however, you will not be able to access and use those portions that require your personal information.

B. Source of Personal Data

The user of this Platform will be the main source of data. However, certain personal data can be obtained via publicly accessible sources including but not limited to public registries, web portal of government agencies, public search engines and websites.

C. How Do We Use and/or Disclose Your Personal Data

• Where you choose to receive mobile services and content via SMS, MMS and other mobile services, we use this information to deliver such mobile services and content to you, to carry out market research, to track sales data and to plan other promotional activities which may be of interest to you.
• Obtain any credit information from credit reporting agencies as defined under applicable laws.
• Fulfilling any other purposes in relation to the access and/use of the services on the Platform.
• To comply with its obligations under applicable laws, where required.

This Privacy Policy does not govern the collection, processing, use and disclosure of your personal data by third party that we do not control or not employed or managed by us. If you access and/or visit any web link mentioned in our Platform, it is your responsibility to review its privacy policy before providing the Platform with any information.

F. Right to Access and Data Correction

Subject to any exceptions under applicable laws, you have the right to access, rectify or update your personal data, withdraw (in full or in part) your consent given or limit the use of your personal data supplied to Rently at any time.

G. Retention of your Personal Information

Rently will retain your Personal Information for the duration necessary for the purposes set out herein and/or as may be deemed necessary by Rently and/or where otherwise required by law until you delete your Rently account.
